I dunno if there's a particular forum this goes in so I'll ask it here.

I posted a WTB thread in the Ventari's Sell forum and someone replied, saying that he'll sell me what I'm going for. Unfortunately he hasn't logged on Guru or Guild Wars recently...

How long should I wait before I should give up? I don't want to go and buy a Mini Mallyx today, and then the guy PMing me in a couple hours...

2 weeks then move on imo. It's really up to how long you want to wait.

Depends on how desperate you are really, if it's a common item, then you can just get one from whoever is online when you are, but if it's fairly rare, then once you find one you'll want to keep your attention on the owner.

The person you're looking for might also be in an awkward timezone compared to you, so you might have to work it out.

I usually wait 48 hours or so considering im online 15 hours or so a day. Shoot him a PM and try to set up a date to make the deal.

Well, he's kinda late, cause... I found a guy who was selling undedi Mini Mallyx ingame, and bought it for him (I saw a couple people selling for 100k+50e, and even a 100k+60e... got worried, lol)

Settled on closing it,- already had my dinner!

I usually wait for about a week or two! I usually PM people if I don't see them online for 3-4 days and suggest GMT times for a meet,- that usually solves the problem! Remember that some people are on the other side of the planet, so they sleep while you play and vice versa!

Suggest you change the location info in your profile to actually show where in the world you live (and or time zone),- great help to people trying to find you ingame!
